The Danish division ACURE operates as IBM Competence Center for healthcare IT in Denmark. ACURE has launched several “Smarter Healthcare” solutions addressing key challenges facing the health sector by using Business Intelligence as a tool to effectively utilize health data. One example of this pioneering approach is DiaLog Shared Care, which securely integrates patients’ diabetes data into existing Lab Systems, Hospital Information Systems and Electronic Health Records, giving everyone, including the patient, access to the same, updated information.
